National Labor organization (NLO) is totally non-profitable social organization based in Kathmandu. NLO is one of the labor research based organization mainly involved in media and publication, Public awareness, Occupational Health and Safety, training and development, Education for all, HIV/AIDS to those migrant workers as well as domestic workers nationally and internationally.

- National Labor Organization will review your application within one working day. If you are accepted, you will revive an email notification, reserving your position in the training program.
- In order to confirm your reservation, you are required to send flight details to National Labor Organization.
- After we receive your flight details, you will receive an email confirming your position in the training program.
Note: The age bar must be above 18 years old.

• 2 weeks US $ 200
• 1 month US $ 300
• 1 1/2 months US $ 400
• 2 months US $ 450
• 2 1/2 months US $ 475
• 3 months US $ 500
• 4 months US $ 600
• 5 months US $ 650

The above costs include the following:
• Transportation from Kathmandu Airport to the office.
• Transport to and from the Kathmandu to project sites.
• Accommodation and main meals during training period and placement.
• Language and cultural information classes.
•National Labor organization staff visits to placement.
Contribution to NLO for examples;
• Health post, Awareness training HIV/AIDS training
• Community learning center
• Public Library, Media and Publication. Research
You're additional Financial Responsibilities
You will be responsible for your fight ticket to Nepal and visa fees which are follows. For more information please visit the nearest embassy of Nepal. Or you can visit the website www.welcomenepal.com
• $ 30 USD for the first two months.
• $ 30 USD per month there after for a maximum of 5 months per year.
Why pay to volunteer?
Volunteering in Nepal, you will incur many costs such as food, accommodation, transportation, transfers, project selection etc. We charge you the fee, all the money goes into providing you all these services.
Money is spending on:-
- Salaries for staffs.
- Communication.
- International travel done by our staff to monitor projects and attend local meetings with partners
- Website maintenance.
- In country maintenance of offices, vehicles etc
- Staff recruitment.
- Volunteer recruitment.
- Maintaining office and other expenses.
Cancellation fees:
- Registration fees is non refundable.
- Before starting training program - 50% Refund.
- No money will be refunded once you start your placement and volunteer position are non transferable.
No money will be refunded for a program of 2 weeks duration.

Upon arrival, volunteers are provided three days training depending on their length of program. This is a rigorous training program to introduce you to Nepali culture, society, understand basic Nepali language to function in a project area where few English speakers live, and prepare you for the possibility of living in a home with very basic facilities |
